Start Training to learn how to use this app. There are simple but helpful instructions along with a graphic explaining the required skills for each task. For instance when I trained on Word Quest, skills included: Working Memory, Divided Attention, Spatial Perception and Planning. I was presented with a word box puzzle in which I had to find the hidden words based on the corresponding graphics. The Aztec style images are authentic looking stone and symbols and wording is easy to read. The next training item was Mouse Challenge in which you must tap quickly on items in a specific order. Hit the big red button at the correct time to eliminate the cows. If you tilt your device, the cross-hair will move over each animal. Other games included are: Crossroads, Fuel a Car, Jigsaw, Mahjong, Whack-A-Mole and Words Birds. Once I had completed Training, a summary was displayed on the status of my abilities. Let me say I definitely intend to improve my mental acuity!

Now on to more fun and brain teasing! I picked the activity named Crossroads to further stimulate my mind. At this point, you can Create a Challenge with a friend, or Play without Neurons. Cognitive skills involved were: Updating, Visual Scanning and Focus. I chose to Play without Neurons. In this activity, prevent rolling balls from colliding by tapping them when two approach an intersection in a head-on collision course. Glossy colored balls on turf with a board comprised of grid stones roll at their own momentum. Be quick to tap and avoid a collision! This is an exciting physics puzzler game reminding me that everyone in the family can fully enjoy these mind and flexibility games. Eye catching graphics and smooth operations make each activity a joy!

This is made possible with utilization of the gyroscope, digital compass and accelerometer of your device. Science games are a lot of intelligent fun, but I find they are far and few between. Bill Nye The Science Guy is a great reminder that science can be fun and teach you many valuable lessons at the same time. Mineral Quiz is another entertaining science game or lesson. Teachers could use it for educational purposes, or those with a love of learning would benefit from the facts contained in the app.

The game consists of 50 illustrated questions about different minerals. Each question has 4 possible answers. When you tap one of the answers, the default color of the pressed button is changed for a while to green if it was the right answer, or to red indicating a wrong answer. You have 3 attempts to tap the right answer.

In Mineral Quiz, if you answer correctly on the first attempt, you will receive 3 points, and on the third attempt only 1 point. After 2 wrong answers the hint with the chemical formula of the mineral will be shown to help you. Excellent images representing the minerals are displayed. This is a science game app that is simple, but covers one topic well.

This scientific app will show you space and the planets as well as teach you things you've never known. More than that, it's all done in a sleek, futuristic and beautiful package. Use 3D mode to get a more realistic experience! Then zoom out to view and spin the entire Galaxy! Check out the satellites while enjoying the inspiring music. Visit the Milky Way and check out the revolutions around Earth. Some of the amazing features of this astronomy app are:
