However, it is equally important not to forget the crucial areas of our brain and mental fitness in keeping ourselves in tip-top shape from head to toe. Doctors have stated the importance of keeping your mind alert by completing puzzles and activities of all kinds on a daily basis. This is no old wive's tale and is purely scientific. So what can you do to maintain the agility and flexibility of the mind of yourself, family and friends?

Using the beautiful retina display with large, clear and sharp graphics is the perfect way to experience this app. Let's take a look at some of the intelligent features of this health and fitness, brain power training iPad app:

- Train with the CogniFit patented personalized training or decide to play single games

- Compare your scores with others if you wish
- Challenge and play with your friends and other from around the world
- Get new neurons each time you train and unlock additional features
- Cognitive skills and abilities you will train include:
        Auditory Short-Term Memory, Contextual Memory, Distance Estimation, Divided Attention, Focus, Eye-Hand Coordination, Response Time, Spatial Perception and many other crucial abilities

Start Training to learn how to use this app. There are simple but helpful instructions along with a graphic explaining the required skills for each task. For instance when I trained on Word Quest, skills included: Working Memory, Divided Attention, Spatial Perception and Planning. I was presented with a word box puzzle in which I had to find the hidden words based on the corresponding graphics. The Aztec style images are authentic looking stone and symbols and wording is easy to read. The next training item was Mouse Challenge in which you must tap quickly on items in a specific order. Hit the big red button at the correct time to eliminate the cows. If you tilt your device, the cross-hair will move over each animal. Other games included are: Crossroads, Fuel a Car, Jigsaw, Mahjong, Whack-A-Mole and Words Birds. Once I had completed Training, a summary was displayed on the status of my abilities. Let me say I definitely intend to improve my mental acuity!

Now on to more fun and brain teasing! I picked the activity named Crossroads to further stimulate my mind. At this point, you can Create a Challenge with a friend, or Play without Neurons. Cognitive skills involved were: Updating, Visual Scanning and Focus. I chose to Play without Neurons. In this activity, prevent rolling balls from colliding by tapping them when two approach an intersection in a head-on collision course. Glossy colored balls on turf with a board comprised of grid stones roll at their own momentum. Be quick to tap and avoid a collision! This is an exciting physics puzzler game reminding me that everyone in the family can fully enjoy these mind and flexibility games. Eye catching graphics and smooth operations make each activity a joy!

Little Things is a very unique game built on the theme of things that are minute in size, and is on sale this week to celebrate the new mini iPad. This is a hidden objects game that the entire family can enjoy. Some features that will engross and entertain in this search and find objects iPad game are as follows:
