Dressing up your iPad's display in style can really be a fun and ongoing past-time. The screen is so big and the high-retina colors really take your breath away, especially when you use excellent quality wallpapers. There's no need to stick with the same home and lock screens for weeks at a time.

Wallpaper Studio Pro HD-Themes and Backgrounds provides a plethora of gorgeous hi-res and sharp wallpapers that will leave your friends quite envious of your good taste! In this beautiful app, you will find more than 100 themes PLUS over 100 wallpapers to mix and match your two screens to get the most captivating appearance possible! Some of the features of this iPad wallpaper app are as follows:

- Over 100 original artwork HD iPad Themes
- Over 100 unique and exclusive HD iPad wallpapers
- Brightness slider to adjust to your taste
- Add to favorites gallery
- Preview wallpapers as your Homescreen or Lockscreen before you save
- Innovative interface
- Easy swipe browsing through theme packs and full screen wallpapers
- Super lazy slideshow function

- Connect to Facebook and publish your wallpapers

You get a pleasant surprise on opening this app to find it neatly arranged for your ease and viewing pleasure according to My Favourites, Browse Themes and Browse Wallpapers. Tap Browse Themes and swipe upwards where the designs will be displayed in a sort of vertical carousel. Find the names of many intriguing and gorgeous categories such as: Studio Themes 1, 2, 3, 4, Light Splash, Zoom Room, Zodiac and Light Flares. Once you tap any of these theme categories, you are then shown a large array of similar designs but in complementary colors covering both the lock and home screens to offer a lovely matching screen combo.

Preview any home screen (or lock) wallpaper to see exactly how it will look with your icons embedded in the neat outlined boxes, then save the theme if you want. Tap the arrow at the top left of screen to go back to your Home Page where you can view more themes and browse a whimsical set of wallpapers. My favorite images are the Water Drips which come in a variety of colors and are so lifelike, you can practically feel the cool drops of water on glass! Tap the icon in the top right of your screen to adjust the brightness of your design to your liking. If you like darkly mysterious, then set the slider to darker. Conversely, brighten up your screen with a lighter look.

There are many wallpaper apps on the App Store, but Wallpaper Studio Pro HD-Themes and Backgrounds is very unique and extremely well put-together to make browsing, previewing, adjusting and setting wallpapers as easy as 1-2-3. Additionally, you will find these designs to be completely original and nicely arranged in combinations for both lock and home screens.

COOL CONCLUSION: "Wallpaper Studio Pro HD-Themes and Backgrounds gives you the ultimate in creative and unique iPad wallpapers that burst with color and vibrancy!"

Looking to dress up your phone with something fresh, new and sassy? You are probably ready to go with a sleek, new, abstract wallpaper, lots of icon outlines and a few dressy shelves to place them on. Accomplish all this with HomeScreen Hero - Wallpapers, Icon Shelves & Lock Screen Designer. Don't forget you can also pick a lock screen with a calendar to make your opening display really helpful! If you don't like the developer's photos, go ahead and add your own special images whether from camera or photo album. Oh, and it's as easy as pie to get started designing your new look. What are some of the cool features included in this flexible wallpaper app? Check the lengthy list below to find out:

-☆ Retina Display High Resolution 640x960 for iPhone 4
-☆ Unique Brightness Control Slider
-☆ Lockscreen Designer with Borders and Flags
-☆ Plasma Combos
-☆ Exclusive App Shelves
-☆ Monthly Calendars
-☆ Choose Backgrounds Via Categories
-☆ Add Your Own Photos
-☆ Share your Screens on Twitter and Facebook

The Homescreen wallpaper categories are loaded with tons of original artworks to personalize your iDevice with unlimited combinations of designs and themes. You might have a hard time deciding which of the following, colorful designs to select first from the likes of those below:

- App Shelves
- Lockscreen Designer
- Icon Skins
- Plasma Combos
- Color Grids
- Digital Abstracts
- Fractals
- 3D Renders
- Light Flares
- Energy Bursts
- Neon Splashes
- Patterns

An excellent feature here is the brightness slider adjustment. You can use this to darken or lighten your chosen wallpaper which really changes the tone of your image. Once you select your complete design with shelves, skins and papers, you save it to your photo album. From there, assign it to Wallpaper or Lock Screen. My favorite shelf unit is the chocolate bar, can never resist one of those! I love the vibrancy of the Fractals, Sunsets and Neon Splashes. My Icon Skins right now are glowing in a rainbow of colors. But that's only today's design. By tomorrow, I'll be on to some other equally splashy theme!

When was the last time you changed the wallpaper and lock screen on your device? I usually try to put a new snazzy pic on mine every weekend so that when Monday rolls around, I'm greeted with a fresh design for a brand new week! There are many beautiful wallpaper apps on the App Store, but here's one that has a unique take on backgrounds.

Monsters On Your Screen puts a little bit of intrigue on to your favorite wallpaper. This app comes with several backgrounds in addition to a collection of glowing monsters. You can either use one of the backgrounds provided, or else choose your own and add a monster to it as the finishing touch on your lock screen. ★Some of the features of this colorful glowing wallpaper iPhone app are as follows:

- 14 backgrounds to dress up your display
- 24 glowing monsters to include on your selected backdrop
- Several glowing neon colors to outline your monster
- Adjustable brightness of the glowing outline

Monsters On Your Screen is very simple to use. When you open it, you will see 5 buttons on the bottom of your display labeled: Base, Monster, Color, Glow and Save. Start off by selecting a background. You may either swipe through the choices given, or select one of your favorite pics by tapping the Import Photo icon on top right of the screen. Tap the Monster button and scroll to select a gruesome or adorable creature that will complement your background. Next, tap the Color button to choose your favorite glowing shade to outline the monster, and scroll for a variety of stunning neon shades. Continue on to the Glow button where you will adjust the strength of the monster's lighting effects, and then finally tap Save so your creation will be added to your photo album. Instructions are now given on how to access your new creation.

Basically, you will just view your photo album to choose your new pic, tap Use as Wallpaper, Set, then Set as Lock Screen. That's all you have to do to accomplish a ghoulish, glowing monster as the guardian of your iPhone's secrets. My thoughts are that Monsters On Your Screen may be a great seasonal app with Halloween fast approaching. However, I know many kids may also like displaying monsters on their iPod Touch devices too! The glow adds a bit of a fire-breathing dragon effect to the whole background design itself. Enjoy swapping monsters on your lock screen depending on your mood, choosing from friendly to fierce glowing creatures!

COOL CONCLUSION: "For a glowing collection of ghoulish yet friendly monsters, use Monsters On Your Screen to set one on the lock screen of your device."

Simply Amazing Wallpaper

Developer Quote: "Some might say that only great photos are taken by professionals. I'd like to prove them wrong."

- COST: 99 cents    - APP STORE STARS: N/A
- Categories: Entertainment, Lifestyle, Native, Photos, Photography, Wallpapers

Wallpapers come in different sizes and styles based on your device. They may be HD or high res color, abstract or natural. It's preferable to have a varied assortment of designs to suit your moods. Oftentimes the abstract photos are highly-colored and very attractive to the eye. Still the real life images can be soothing and reflect our world in many ways. Simply Amazing Wallpaper is just that! It is a simple photography app made by a college student with no photographic training who took the time to show you the world as he sees it. Realize there is no particular top-notch camera used here - just a simple auto focus one that instantly captures what it sees. It's interesting to see the detail and true color that is plainly visible, and is a great representation of everyday life.

Open Simply Amazing Wallpaper and tap Begin to enter this photographer's world. There will be cloud labels on a muted background designating the various categories of 100 photos. Enjoy beauties from Lifestyle, Nature, Landscapes, Abstract, Animals and more. Tap the tag that you prefer. You can view the photos in slides or full display mode. The slide mode is superimposed on its softly muted full size picture so you can actually see both versions. As I love the brilliance of colors in nature shots, I chose that category and enjoyed a range of unusual plants, fruits, trees and the like. I tried Lifestyle next and was treated to a variety of night and day shots of a variety of scenery. You may tap the arrow to return to the main category menu at any time.

Photos that you might have taken yourself at any time are what's included in Simply Amazing Wallpaper. Here you will find simplicity and a view that catches upon the most common subjects around you every day. Except perhaps now you will see things in a new light, from a new angle, and with a totally different perspective!

COOL CONCLUSION: "Simply Amazing Wallpaper brings you charming photos of every walk in life taken by a simple camera, no gimmicks, just old-fashioned beauty."

Want to change the look of your home and lock screens, but don't feel artistic enough to tackle that project? You know how boring and unexciting the display can appear after a couple weeks. Come on now, there's never a need to stick with the same design or theme on your display...not with your high-tech device! There are actually many methods you can utilize to change the look of both screens. One of these is by using iThemes-Themes for iPhone and iPod Touch. This app brings you over 40 great themes with a plethora of designs. You don't have to puzzle over colors or matching designs. It's already been done for you with eye-popping clarity!

When you use iThemes you will view both the Home and Lock screens which have a color coordinated theme. After selecting your choice, both images will be downloaded to your photo gallery. At that point, you will need only to install them as your unlock screen or home screen. It's that simple and that stylish! Apple does not make it possible to change the grid of icons, but nonetheless with iThemes you can draw attention away from the grid, and on to vibrant iPhone wallpaper designs.
