Discovering AAA News today was a pleasant find as I expect I'll be able to keep abreast of all current developments right here on my phone in one app. Considering the new iPhone and iOS coming in Fall, I'm hoping to get some useful information that I can share with others.

The Settings icon will allow you to connect with Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, in addition to signing in to your Frequency.com account if you already have one. You do not need to open an account in order to begin enjoying this app. However, if you also watch Frequency videos on your computer, then you will notice that this app syncs perfectly with the content there. In Settings, you may also set your Video Quality to either Auto, Low or High.

Some of the outstanding features that have me happily sold on Frequency as my video news collector of choice are: (1) all videos shared by my friends on Facebook, Twitter or YouTube are able to be seen here, (2) re-aligning channels in my customized Tuner is easy by dragging an icon to a new position, (3) using the Smart Channel feature (a collection of my favorite sources) is a cool time saver, (4) adding RSS feeds or video from any website is a super personal touch, and (5) excellent video playback is pure pleasure. As soon as I wrap up this post, I will resume watching the humorous video in top screenshot from "The Onion", one of my favorite channels. Enough said!

First of all, there is an excellent User Guide with video clips to demonstrate each set of instructions. Pocket Snapper has two modes. One of these allows you to photograph subjects as you usually would, and then add in photo effects afterwards to spice up your pics. The other mode is iModel where you can become a fashion photographer like you've seen on TV. In this mode, you will enjoy 2 unique videos of models during a photo shoot. While watching each video (and using the iPhone's gyroscope), tilt your device this way and that just like a professional photographer to snap pics of this simulated photo shoot. Make use of the zoom and brightness wheels to get your shots just right. (My only wish here would be to correct the interface which flips upside down between shooting and saving pics). The effect of capturing a real fashion shoot though is uncannily lifelike and a whole lot of fun.

If you don't like the snaps you've accumulated, don't worry about it! You can Rotate and Crop to suit your needs. The icing on the cake though is when you add special effects lending an authentic appearance to your photos in Edit mode. Choose Frames to select one appropriate for your photo. Adjust the intensity, add or delete frames until you have the appearance you desire.

Once your images are looking awesome, go ahead and set up a cool collage. In Photo Management mode, you can choose specific photos then tap the layout button to begin your collage. Select your preferred style and adjust photos (rotate and resize) as you please. Feel free to trash photos that don't fit, or to use the Style button to select from different collage styles. I selected the movie, "Lymelife", to watch on my iPad. There is an ad to watch before the movie begins, but that was no problem to me. (After all, I was able to choose from some awesome free movies). I used the iPad in orientation mode to enlarge the screen because the view does not completely cover the device's display, and I wanted it as large as possible. However, the quality of the movie was flawless, the sound was crystal clear and I did not come across any glitches during its play.

The movie is being streamed as you watch so you can't download it to your device, but the beauty is that you can watch both over 3G and WiFi. Use the scrubber bar at the top of your screen to move the action further along or rewind as you please. Under Genre, find movies such as Action/Thrillers, Comedy, Horror, Drama, Romance, Family/Kids, Urban, Bollywood and more. Use the Search bar to enter the name of a film you'd prefer to see. If you want to add movies to your queue, go ahead and do so then select to either Watch Now or have it stored in your queue. Movies 24/7 at your disposal? I'd say it's definitely worth having on all your devices, especially on trips where you can utilize the 3G for your kids!

Life can get so complicated with juggling and sharing personal and business tasks, communications and media. If you are constantly on the go, this can make things even more stressful with needing files you suddenly discovered are not in your possession! That's why it's super important nowadays to have all your important information at hand. I found a really superb answer to this dilemma - OrganiDoc HD. This app keeps you completely organized and ready to produce media, docs or what-have-you at a minute's notice!

(Password protection is worth a million to me as I really don't like having my photos and email exposed to others). When you open OrganiDoc HD, tap My iPad, My Doc to find a Quick Start Guide that will instruct you on how to transfer files of all types between your computer and iPad. Now you can begin to make your files easily accessible to you at all times. Tap Cloud Storage in the left of your display to view the many storage facilities where you may currently have docs, videos or photos. These site include GoogleDocs, Dropbox, MobileMe iDisk, Public iDisk, WebDAV Server, Box.net and Soonr. Enter your account information in each and you're all set to go with docs at the ready! To set a Passcode on a file, just tap the Protected File tab. The same method applies to iTunes File Sharing. On the top of your screen, you will see tabs for Doc, Photo, Media. This is where your files will appear when added to OrganiDoc HD.

I transferred several special photos from my computer using iTunes and they appeared within a couple minutes. I tested importing documents as well as videos, and everything functioned smoothly as I expected. Remember, you can also transfer files from your iPad back to iTunes on your computer or to any of the storage facilities mentioned. The neat thing I noticed when viewing my imported photos is that I could password protect each, as well as see complete file format information on the photo itself. Another intuitive feature is being able to see a preview of your file in the left column of your screen. Tap on the file name to view it in entirety. You are able to Rename, Share, Move, Zip, etc. your files when you tap the Edit button on the top of your display.

I've mentioned several favorite features that I found, but here's one of the neatest! Use the List or Swipe icon buttons at the end of the display to view your materials. Swipe is done via carousel method. The bottom line here is that after testing and using OrganiDoc HD for the day, I found it to be absolutely invaluable and totally productive. I found no glitches or problems that befuddled me. The app is cleverly constructed, straightforward, extremely useful and a must-have for all iPad users!
