To Quote Shakespeare

Developer Quote: "Collected here are Shakespeare's most famous quotes from all of his plays."

- COST: Free     - RATING: 3-1/2 Stars
(Cost/Rating subject to change per the App Store)

- Categories: Books, Education, Entertainment, Native, Quotes, Sentiments

I admit I'm one of those Shakespeare-o-philes. Maybe it comes from too many years of studying Shakespeare in depth at school. Still, I admire much of his work as it speaks very truthfully of human nature. Shakespeare is widely considered the most influential playwright in English history and almost everyone has heard a couple of his quotes. For these reasons, I could not pass up this quotes app, To Quote Shakespeare!

Open the app to categories of quotes such as Anger, Death, Fate, Love, Wit, Selected Sonnets and Selected Poems. Underneath those topics are Quick Quotes which lists a variety of sayings that you can easily enjoy with just a tap. What I like about this app is not that it provides an assortment of excellent quotes, but that it also shows where in the verse of the play or sonnet the quote is located. That being said, I would love the option to upload my fave quotes to share on Facebook or Twitter. After all, the whole purpose of beautiful language is sharing it with others! In any event, this is a great app for both learning and entertainment purposes. After all, who does not appreciate a quote such as this, "If music be the food of love, play on!"

COOL CONCLUSION: "To Quote Shakespeare is a wonderful learning aide for school, as well as a classic and literary gift for yourself!"
