Lingo of the Day: pseudo-supervisor - Slang for a federal employee who's neither rank-and-file nor a full-fledged supervisor (i.e., someone with all of the responsibility and none of the authority or appropriate compensation of a supervisor). The Feds have recently begun using the more dignified-sounding "team leader."
